I'm feeling very sorry I never wrote a review when I had just finished the book so I can't write a more detailed review now. First of all, it is a verrrry long book. This means there are boring and less boring parts, and that made me give it *only* three stars. But I also enjoyed the read, and I am determined to read at least two other novels by Dostoyevski (Demons and Crime and Punishment). The structure and style are really good, and the characters, with all of their moral struggles, were worked out very very well.
