While I know that there are many books that take a literary journey through an real city, I have never read one before. I love Paris and when I won this book on First Reads, I was excited. However, I really don't think this kind of book is for me. While the author did a great job tying each story in to her Paris, the different voices and literary styles kept me unnerved. I did not enjoy every story; not every author appealed to my writing style. This book was excellent for what it was but I don't think it is my thing.
