it was amazing

Brilliant. Mesmerizing. Beautiful. An instant CLASSIC. My only unfulfilled desire was that it NEVER END! And, of course, as a "novella" or "novelette" or "long short story, it was not NEARLY long enough. But, then, we're it 1,789 pages, it would STILL not be long enough. Unique pros. Full dimensional characters, even in the periphery. This... book.. had me laughing and crying aloud. AND, nodding my head throughout, thinking; "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes... Everything that happened, was said, was described was JUST RIGHT. It was as if Stephen Hawking and David Sedaris shared both a vagina and a fulfilled passion to write a short novel together. WHY are there NO other books by LINDA TAIMRE for me to read RIGHT NOW? What IDIOT has chosen not to publish ANYTHING that this phenomenal story-teller has EVER WRITTEN? I will go back to the "About The Author" page and MAKE SURE there isn't ANYTHING ELSE written by LINDA TAIMRE that's been published. If there has, and it's written in Senegalize, I WILL LEARN SENEGALIZE! How hard can it be? How worth it if would be. And, Ms. Taimre, if all of your seventeen other professions have allowed you the time to write only this boo, thank you and QUIT ALL OF THOSE OTHER F-INGNG JOBS! NOW! I get it. I am a writer, don't and dance man, designer of eccentric interior design items, soon to be an online store called "Accentricities". But, I have written nine plays (all of them produced by the Off-Broadway companies of which I have subsequently been made a member; Circle Rep, Manhattan Theater Club, Playwright's Horizons, Naked Angels and by Lincoln Center, as well as at at theaters in LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Florida, Boston, etc, been published in a variety of languages, including Englished, and produced numerously nternationally), and seventeen screenplays (For Oliver Stone, Ron Howard, Nicole Kidman, Jason Reitman, and quite nearly every major and minor studio in Hollywood), AS WELL AS an absurdly redacted gameplay for a Donald Trump biopic for ABC, called "Trump Unauthorized -- and, believe me, if I'd had ANY IDEA...), so YOU, Little Ms. Jill Of All Trades, CUT IT OUT! WRITE! You have that rarest of all rare rate things; A UNIQUE VOICE! So far, in the last five years, I have found TWO of you. Andrew Sean Greer (" The Confessions Of Max Tivoli", "The Story Of A Marriage", "The Impossible Lives Of Greta Wells", "How It Was For Me: Stories", "The Path Of Minor Planets", and the winner of last year's Pullitzer Prize, the astoundingly-worthy-of-winning-the-Pullitzer-Prize, "Less", perhaps the single most astounding novel I have ever read), and YOU (" The Fading"). Notice any DIFFERENCE between you guys? ( and I do not mean the Pullitzer; were that a TRUE meritocracy, I'd have won at least two myself by now). The difference is that, once I found "Less", I found MORE. You are a one of a kind writer. You cannot keep yourself from us like this. But, listen, Linda Taimre, if "The Fading" were to be the only book you'd write (I KNOW THERE'S A NOVEL COMING), you will have given us a uniquely unique book of meaningless that will delight millions and live on forever. At least if I have anything to say about it! Thank you for your brilliant, gorgeous, thought-provoking, heart-both-filling-and-breaking novel. "The Fading". Thank you SO much. Keith
