it was amazing

This started out so quirky and fun. Then it grew into into adorable and sweet that made me teary eyed and happy in the end. This is so different from other contemporary romances that I have read. There is the slow build from stangers to aquantenances, then from friends to lovers. I loved their voices and their quirks. We get to see and enjoy the personal growth of Rue and Erik just so you can cross your fingers and hope that they have grown enough to be able to hold on to each other. Can't forget about little Alice, without her, Rue and Erik would have never turned into the men they became. Great read!

10.0% "Toddlers were running the place like some miniature version of Lord of the Flies, complete with weapons made from blocks and tinker toys. One of them came at me, charging my knees and the pink pod that held my precious baby. I screamed and made a run for the front door, flip-flops sticking to squelchy dried puddles of juice."
