it was amazing

I go back and read this every so often, and it remains one of my favorite works of satire. Absolutely stunning. Some things I love about this work of literary art:

- The way the character literally just teleport by praying to go somewhere
- McGonagall prays for God to set the table and make dinner. It works
- The imagery of angels swooping into the great hall, and Dean Thomas casually remarking "The mail's here"
- The literal baseball caps
- The meta story of Grace Ann and her writing class
- The liberal sprinkling in of bible verses
- The last chapter. Just. The entire last chapter. It's incredible and I love it. It's use of adverbs? Completely unnecessary and difficult to read, it adds a certain je ne sais quoi when contrasted against Tom's dialogue.

Anyway, it's pretty good. If you stopped halfway through cause you couldn't deal with the whole religion thing? Honestly, I don't blame you, but I encourage you to give it another shot. The last chapter pulls the whole thing together and the last line is just fantastic. So give it a go! Read it to your loved ones! I know I did!
