Jamie had lived through hell. First betrayed by his church then his parents. His father beat him up and gave him a bus ticket to Seattle as a goodbye. Forced into living on the streets, barely surviving, until a good samaritan gives him a chance at a better life. Dancing in a club where he meets Butch. Their relationship brings both men the happiness they deserve. Until Jamie’s life is threatened.

Jamie was such a good character to discover. Even when he was at his lowest he still maintained his humanity and goodness. Butch was a perfect match for him. The characters that I really enjoyed in Greyson Fox book figured prominently in this one.

This story took on some serious issues that weren’t pleasant to read about, but I thought they were nicely handled in this book.
