Name: James Cunningham spoiler alert

Book title: I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic 1912

Personal Response:
I like the book because of the story. I like what it is talking about, but in some parts, it just drags it out. I enjoy reading about events in history.

Plot: So, in the beginning, it starts while the ship is sinking, and then it goes back about a day. The main character, George, starts telling stories about before he was on the ship. He tells a story about a panther, but later that night, they go to dinner and they meet the maker of the ship, Mr. Andrews. Mr. Andrews tells him that there is a mummy on the ship and shows him blueprints of the whole ship. Later that night, George tries to find the mummy. He finds the box, but there is a thief down there too. George tells the thief there is a mummy down there. George goes back upstairs to sleep and he finds out that the ship hit the iceberg. They make them get life jackets and then they notice that his little sister was gone They go find her and ran out on the deck. They will not let him get on a lifeboat, so he has to jump off. Later, he gets rescued and they all get reunited

Recemendason: I recommend this to all genders and all ages because it is history. It is a small book, so little kids can read it.
