I like this book the more I think about it. I think the author did an excellent job telling the story from the viewpoint of an elementary age girl. The naivete and innocence were actually humorous at times, and the ending had a couple big surprises. While reading this book, I actually felt like I lived in this small neighborhood. How do children deal with adult-sized problems? Read this book to find out.
