David So, have you read this one? It fits to the book I'm wading through so I've added Blink to my must read group!

Kelly Bryson I've really enjoyed the books I've read of his, and Blink was no exception. Not sure how fresh it will be to someone with some expert knowledge of thought processes, but I found it fascinating. I esp. liked the bits about autism and what draws their eyes in movies (light switch instead of the intense emotional interaction. Huh. I have some understanding of autism since I've worked as a behavior specialist with some autistic clients, but it was interesting to "see through their eyes") and the way that some events (ie unarmed black man in NY shot 41 times by white police)are generally seen with a racist slant, but the necessary simplifications our brains make may be more to blame, and that we can train ourselves to notice the proper predictors of others' behaviors so we may avoid similar misktakes(or tragedies, as the case may be.) Anyhow, it was a very good read. Anything not *too* technical to recommend?
