Peak gets arrested after scaling a skyscraper in New York City. In order to get him out of the limelight, he goes to live with his dad--a professional mountain climber who is currently leading an expedition to the top of Mt. Everest. His dad decides Peak has the potential to be the youngest person ever to summit Everest. The conflict lays in whether his dad's motives are purely selfish (to promote his business) or not. I learned quite a lot about the experience of climbing Everest through this book, which I enjoyed. I always like learning about something totally new when I read.
