I loved this book.
Set in Saudi Arabia it focuses on the murder of a woman, Leila Nawar, a film maker who seems to have had potential to make many enemies exposing more undesirable elements of life.
Katya is an investigator involved in solving the murder, and she calls upon her friend/romantic interest Nayir to help her find information.
The other main character is Miriam, an American living in Saudi whose husband disappears, apparently linked to the murdered Leila.

Don't want to give too much away here, so I'll just say that I loved it. The only minor thing - it's the second book featuring the characters of Katya and Nayir, which I didn't know when it was recommended to me. It referred to things, in regard to their relationship, which happened in the first novel, and I did wish I'd read that one first. Still, it gives me a good idea of what to read nexy anyway. Great book, would really recommend it.
