really liked it

I don't really know what to write about this book. There are so many emotions that come into play. I didnt' like it at 1st because she did a lot of going from past to present. I just wanted to to tell the story but as it went on I could see she needed to tell about Peters past so you could pick up clues that came into play throughout the last 1/4 of the book. She really drew you into the characters I thought about them during the day and the situation in reference to my own life since I have same age children. When we finally go there it was a great ending--not totally unexpected up she tidied everything up. This is a terrible situation but she has you feeling sorry for the shooter since you know his whole unbiased side--which I'm sure you might not in a real life situation. All in all a good book albiet a long sad thoughtful book

Heidi I agree with your review Lisa. I was amazed that she actually made me sympathize with the shooter.
