really liked it

As a life long lover of the James Herriot books (I don't even know how many times I've reread them) this was a pleasurable read. I really enjoyed learning more about him and the fascinating people he based his books on. Jim Wight is not nearly the writer his father was but it was a heartfelt look at his father's life. Well worth reading for dedicated Herriot fans.
