I really liked this book. I thought it was cute how the cows kept asking for the electric blanket. While reading the book with Samiah she enjoyed the repetition of "click clack moo". She thought it was hilarious that the cows were even typing because she knows that cows do not type. Not only did I enjoy the story but the pictures were also great. The water colors are a great counterpart to the stories. I liked how Farmer Brown looks real especially in the beginning of the story when we see him walking away from the barn. My favorite illustration was when he saw that the cows put up the sign that said "Sorry. We're closed. No milk today". You could tell from Farmer Brown's hair that he was not happy about that. This is a great book that I would recommend reading aloud to students in a classroom. The repetition is great and the pictures are fun to look at. I think that the book can also lend itself to a conversation about the ducks and how they got their diving board.
