Thinking, Fast and Slow

Did not read the whole book. But read 9 chapters. It was enough to give me an idea what author was trying to say. Fast thinking (system 1) can be both a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing help us make quick decisions. Bad thing. Can make up make wrong decision, i.e. the equal lines that does not look equal. The deliberate thinking (system 2) can also be bad or good. Bad in that we are too focus on the task and miss out on the whole picture, i.e. the gorilla missed when concentrating on counting the number of passes of the people wearing white. The good in that it help us calculate correctly a problem, i.e. 17 x 24.
