Free Kindle download and a surprisingly good read. It's a Christian historical romance set in the old west, but the religious/faith part of it isn't overbearing. The characters are nicely drawn, even the secondary characters, who provide a nice foil for the primary characters. The way that the hero and heroine interact with these secondary characters and how they treat them, it becomes clear that even though the two seem like complete opposites, they really both have the same values and they both really care for the people around them.

There are amusing passages — scenes that are funny and sweet. The author draws some cute "pictures" with her descriptions so that even two months later, I can see in my mind's eye some of the scenes in the book. The characters also have nice arcs — they each develop and grow, and it's nice to watch those small changes as they journey in life.

Nicely done. Fun read.
