It's too long. Sorrow is not a public thing. It is not a feeling that one whats to elaborate on. This novel bothers me because it misses the point of sorrow being trasformed into joy. Where's the joy? I want my happy ending. A living dead drifter is not going to help me believe that there is joy to be had outside of it all. I get she is Huck Finn or Tom Sawyer and fakes her own death, but she never comes home to be civilized.
