First and foremost, I was totally expecting something a little more mysterious and thrillery, but this one sort of fell flat for me. It was a decent read, but it wasn't as edge-of-your-seat as I was anticipating, nor as dark. Instead, it felt like a Lifetime movie.

It seemed like Pammie's feelings for Emily and how she treated her went on a little too long before anything different happened, and by the time anything really unfolded it seemed like the book was over about a chapter later.

The ending left me saying "That's it?" I wish there would have been a little less focus on Emily's feelings and a little more oomph at the end. I probably would have liked it more.
