Nothing to make this book a stand-out until the end, when a fascinating piece of science turns speculation into evidence and a man's personal conviction about his father's death into a murder case. The presentation--the book consisting of documents rather than action and conversations--is highly unusual; and even though it's not my favorite Sayers by a long shot I've reread it with enjoyment.
