7/10 really. I enjoyed the story and found the Winter War setting interesting, but for a tale supposedly told by an idiot (Timo is the village idiot...), Timo seemed pretty sharp to me. His vocabulary and thinking did not 'ring true'. Some of the translation seemed ham-fisted, too, although they may have been trying to be authentically idiotic...
