it was amazing
bookshelves: non-fiction, writing-development

Everyone says to read this book. It's a staple on writing development lists right alongside Stephen King's 'On Writing' and after reading it I can see why. Some of the phrases and breakdowns of what they mean open your eyes on things you've been struggling with for a while as well as lay a great foundational basic and showing you his own plotting method (plotters will love this book ;p )

Plenty of the contents apply to any form of writing, not just screen writing (hence my reading it). The advice can seem very formulaic, but that is at it's roots, not at all levels and can be expanded out to suit all genres.

Now I've read this and Save The Cat Goes To The Movies I'm going to listen to the Save The Cat Strikes Back audiobook ;p
