it was amazing

I rarely read a book that can completely give me all five senses of being in the environment that the story has created.....this one does exactly that! Trilbey Kent has delivered the reader into the horror and vastness of a forgotten conflict, The Boer War of the late 1800's, and reminds us of the tragedy of ANY war and the sufferings of the non-combatants....the families left behind.
