it was amazing
bookshelves: dystopian, paranormal, young-adult

This book is a perfect testament to why readers shouldn't automatically discredit a novel because it is self-published or released by a lesser-known publisher. Superb prose, a rich dystopian California, wonderful characters, and a very fresh story make Angelfall a very original addition to the young adult 'angel' world. I loved the chemistry between Penryn and Raffe, and the surprisingly textured characters, especially Penryn's mother. I can't wait for the next installment in this new series! Susan Ee is definitely one to watch.
