Easy, light reading in the "Tobacco Road" styel. Ex-con tries his hand at revival preaching and law enforcement in the Arkansas hills in the company of a hillbilly friend and 12 year old girl named Henry. I'll have to look for this author's other 3 novels. I rather like the style. "Alone is mostly good, but there's things that want sharing."
