it was amazing

I'm going to start finally writing out proper reviews for the books I read now, so here goes :):

What I really liked about this book was the way Darren Shan explored the growth of the main character, Darren, in not only his vampire side but also his 'human' side in a way, He still explores the changes young boys go through as they grow up, especially with girls, which is explored with the introduction of Debbie into the book. Of course, Shan still maintains his "gore factor" to his writing, still plenty of gore which these books are good for.

There's still loads of twists and turns to keep you interested in the series, it's almost like you learn the world of vampires and supernatural with Darren as he learns from Mr.Crepsley, almost like you're a half vampire as well, which I found very good.

All in all, the series is still going strong for me and still hard to put down. This series is turning out to be very good so far.
