Fun, quirky memoir, with experimental flourishes that take it over the top. The best book about Shakespeare I've read, and one of the better books about sex. Justifies its fifth star late in the story, when the author makes a novel and passionate argument against corporal punishment (one of the things that makes me angriest, so I'm biased, but such is the nature of the book review).
