What a fun novella. It’s part of a series (#5.5). I have read none of the other books in this series, yet, but I had no trouble following the plot, characters, and action. All the information needed to understand what happens in this book is presented very tidily by the author. I lived all the characters, each one eccentric in their own way. The plot was clever; the ending a bit of a surprise. All in all, this is a jolly little mystery that takes place in March familial Abbey at Christmastime.

I’ll be checking out other books by this author in the future. She writes beautifully, and it’s all infused with a light handed touch of humor.

A very enjoyable short read.
