it was amazing

Forgive Me If I've Told You This Before swept me away. Growing up queer in a small rural Oregon town, I was able to relate to deeply with this story and Triinu. While I struggled to get a sense of perspective and tone in certain scenes, the characters and weight of the story resonated deeply with me.

I also wrestled with my faith and identity, and I really want to commend the author on her artful treatment of the topic. Not only did I find a great queer coming of age story, but I also learned about the anti LGBTQ movement and harrasment that took place in Oregon with measure 9 in the 1990s.
