They were each other's forever. The promise of a marriage proposal upon her 18th birthday.

But alas tragedy struck and now two hearts are damaged and broken.

Nothing will ever be the same again. So much hurt and anger, loss and complete devastation.

This is Nivias debut and in a way it does show.

Personally for me for the length of the book I was a little dissapointed. I'm almost at a loss of what to say.

Damien is the injured party, and he plays his part very well. He wears his hurt like a suit of armour in all that he says and all that he does.

Nivia I felt was a little over dramatic, and I did find myself questioning if at the tender age of eighteen if you even knew what true love was and especially since they were each other's first true reletionship.

Whilst I did want to see what happened and where it all went I found this a hard read. Not because of what the content was about but because of the depth of it.

I really wanted to love this, as the cover drew me in and gave me that feeling, that promise of something so great but in reality I got a luke warm read.

I feel justified in my 3 stars but sad I can't give it more.
