it was amazing

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

WOW! What a breathtaking and fantastic story. My daughter (11 years old) and I read this in the space of a week with her hounding me at every opportunity to read more. We stayed up close to an hour past bed time each night because in all honesty, I was hooked too!

The story follows Peter & Evie on their journey to finding out they are guardians, battling and evil witch that has taken over one of mother natures three lands, Eden and the ticking clock to rescue their parents from the witch. Their journey is filled with fantasy, adventure and it's action packed with imagination and excitement.

This is a unique and brilliant story that follows the journey of Peter and Evie, the unknown guardians of the Everleigh portal. Their Irish heritage shines through and Jem McCusker brilliantly paints the picture of their home town. I could have closed my eyes and sworn I was there too.

Jem creates an ensemble cast of unique and interesting characters that you can't help but fall in love with. Our absolute favourite is Fable, an endearing and entertaining frog with magical powers and their main guide on their journey.

We can't wait for book 2 of the series to be released next year.
