3.5 stars. I could sit here and nitpick all of the little details that kept me from loving this book quite as much as Anna and the French Kiss, but it hardly seems worth the effort. When it comes right down to it this is a sweet book all about first love and being yourself. I especially liked the use of Lola's two dads, both as positive representations of gay parents AND for the fact that they (as parents) actually played a prominant role in a YA novel. That was nice.
