Kirkus calls this "An early-reader meditation on interdependence," and so it is. Readers contemplate the connections between cells, seeds, oneself, and more. It would pair well with the recent title "The Stuff of Stars."

I especially like Jordan Crane's uber-bright art (you don't see a lot of neon colors in picture books, but it works well here). This is part of Toon Books' easy-to-read Level One comics, although, without panels per se, I'd call it more of a small-format picture book. Artwork was created using pen, ink, and tablet.
