I am interested in a cappella singing, which I guess is why I liked the book so much. It follows the journeys of three groups: Divisi from the University of Oregon, the Hullabahoos from the University of Virginia, and the Beelzebubs from Tufts. The extreme dedication and practice time--and the competitiveness--were written about in a way that made you feel you were there. Interestingly, a lot of the songs talked about in the book could be found on YouTube, which made it even more fun. It's a good read especially if you like this type of singing (or know someone who sings in a group like this).
