's review

really liked it
bookshelves: read-in-2018

I really enjoyed this, for the following reasons:

1) slow burn romance
2) the role reversal of the stereotypical male/female roles (Zach was more emotional than Ivy, etc)
3) the fact that it was a standalone and wrapped up nicely rather than being unnecessarily dragged out
4) it was a debut author and I was pretty impressed
5) there was no love triangle
6) the strength of the friendships (especially Brom and Ivy)

Overall a really enjoyable debut novel.
