A very funny, very poignant look at a small Indiana city in the middle of the Depression. Heartfelt, sincere, and laugh-out-loud funny stories about family holidays, fishing, blind dates, and simply growing up. Very much recommended, and great to read.

Suzanne I haven't read a Jean Shepherd book in years. I think I read this in high school and of course, A Christmas Story is my absolute favorite holiday film. I may have to revisit this!

Rebecca Huston You are all quite welcome -- If any of you do read this one, I would love to hear what you think.
