liked it

Like Salman Rushdie, but with some more sensayuma.

I don't know much about the factual/political backgrounds of it all, but that certainly didn't stop me enjoying this. On the contrary, after reading this, I found myself looking up information about what happened and what certainly didn't happen. And somewhere in between, reading this book is just having a lot of fun with what just might have happened if...

A quick read with lots of fascinating characters, and as a plus: it made me want to go and discover a thing or two about the history of Pakistan.
