it was amazing

I loved this book! It's an intense, very real story where the heartbroken woman escapes across the world to a captivating land, Scotland. Darcy is in the midst of a scandal..caught up in an illicit affair with a famous married man, all she can do is leave after threats on her life. Latching hold of an offer of a yoga instructor job in Scotland, she goes there to see if she can pick up the pieces of her life and hide out in the process. I really love the setting. The author is amazing at describing the area in Scotland and painting a serene picture of an ancient castle. Aidan is the owner and his heritage is in trouble. He is about to lose the castle and everything he has because of low business at the bed and breakfast he's made. Darcy quickly sees the potential that could draw tourists, but Aidan is stubborn and doesn't think anything would work. Darcy, known as Daisy here, since she's hiding out, convinces Poppy, and the other wonderful Scottish characters, that it's just a matter of using the setting-- that tourists want to see a Scottish castle and all its history, ghosts and all. It's a compelling story with heartache and hope and the growth of a powerful love. This book, Heart Full of Stars, is highly recommended.
