Laughing Tree were by far one of my favorite bands to grace the stages & alleys of Baltimore while I lived there. Their costumes were fantastic, their rock 'n' roll was tight, their overall presentation was thoroughly conceived. This bklt is nicely designed w/ collages, hive fotos, stills from giant insect SF, & explanatory text like this:
"Using the latest in genetic recall techniques, Laughing Tree flounders into the rich past of the sneaky guitar and its adherents. Believing the present to be mythological and the past down right silly, Laughing Tree must look to the future to cough up the past locked inside. It is here that they hooked up with several billion Baltimore are insects. Phone numbers were exchanged and much more was learned."
Laughing Tree consisted primarily of Clark Snell & Peter Williams - w/ costuming & other artistic touchs from Carol Shuford - & drumming from time-to-time from Lyle Kissack.
