Love Diary of a Wimpy Kid Day!

Usually, I am the point person at my school to receive all the Wimpy Kids books when they are delivered. That wasn't the case this year, so I impressed upon the teacher who was to receive the box to make certain we got our copy today. And she did!

The formula is tried and true. I liked this one a little better, I think, than the last couple. It all revolves winter, snow days, and survival.

We learn Greg and his family live on a hill. I am not certain if that was known before. There was very little of Rodrick or Dad in this one. Even Mom and Manny were very minor. Greg described the battles between those who live on the hill and those at the bottom. The Safety Patrol is all girls. In the end, there is a massive snowball fight, betrayal, goofiness, and survival. Yes, it is a fun read that should take an hour to enjoy. I even let out a few chuckles as I read. :)
