Michelle Athy's Reviews > Mariana
This is a time slip novel with strong historical romance and a contemporary story as well. The contemporary story was more about Julia Beckett's entanglement with the time slip and the present day plot revolved completely around the past's plot. The story felt slow to me, but I was intrigued by Mariana Farr and Richard de Mornay and found their last section the best part of the book. I did not expect the ending and I'm not sure how I feel about it. It kind of felt like it came out of nowhere.
