really liked it

A lovely book that takes for the form of a dog's memoir. Enzo is a dog, and his master (Denny) is the centre of his universe. Enzo learns the art of racing in the rain from watching Denny's videos of car racing and his 2nd hero (after Denny) is Ayrton Senna.

This book is not only about the Enzo's life, but also about what he experiences vicariously through Denny, Eve and Zoe. Throw into the mixture the Evil Twins (Denny's in-laws) and a cunningly organised revenge campaign by Enzo involving bowel movements, and you have a funny, and sometimes poignant diary of the 10 years of Enzo's life.

All in all, it has made me wonder about some of the things that my dog does - is that really what she is thinking when she plays with her ball.....?
