This book was disturbing and delicious. And good. So, so good. I wanted to reread it even before I'd finished. It takes the concept of Stockholm Syndrome to new levels of intensity and layers cruelty and kindness in this amazing confection, topped off with great writing and dealt with with great compassion. Not to mention that it was smoking hot. Not for the faint of heart, though.

I guess it's not really to everyone's taste. And I don't usually like non-consensual stuff, but this was so creepy and atmospheric. I did like it, yeah.
