it was amazing

Wow. This was such an emotional, raw, heartbreaking story. And completely unbelievable. I kept thinking of what my friend Kiersten wrote in her review, that if this was fiction, no one would read it or believe it, because what Louis Zamperini went through was truly unbelievable. It broadened my understanding of World War II, and was extremely well researched, but flowed easily. Every time I put it down, I thought about when I would be able to pick it up again and keep reading. Some parts were especially difficult to read, emotionally, but I felt a lot of peace at the end and was very glad that the author carried us through all the way to the sweet and touching end of Louis' story.

Denise Richard and I loved this book. We looked Louis up and he was still alive and I hope he still is! I can't remember if it's in Unbroken or in Billy Graham's latest book but they got together and visited which I think is an awesome story also!
