I thought this book started off strong, but around the half-way mark it kind of became a slog. I finished it, but I admit I skimmed the last third. Usually in a thriller, something happens around the half-way point to raise the stakes, or change the way you view the action. I think this book lacked that, and I really felt that lack. It just felt like: get the stone, get the stone, get the stone, get the stone, end.
