it was ok

Persephone accepts the Duke of Keilder's hand in marriage despite having never met him, in an attempt to financially save her family.

While I appreciated that this was a fun, even cute little Regency romance, I felt it was a bit tame. Truthfully, if the Duke is that attracted to her and has that little grasp on his temper and passions, I hardly think they would never have slept together for the entire book. I mean, something had to give, but it never did.

The real issue for me, though, was the ending. It was the sappiest, corniest lines of mush I've ever read. EVER. It was awful.

Otherwise, like I said before, a cute sweet Regency romance.

Graded a C+.
