I really enjoyed this book, although it was a tad predictable and the writing was sometimes not quite "on". I think it was more the idea of hiding in a cabin in the mountains with little to no possessions that was appealing to me. The author narrated herself and did not do a bad job. However, she often emphasized the text by whispering or nearly shouting, based on the context. It got annoying quickly to have to keep adjusting the volume. It seems that the CD's should have been audibly edited before release.
