bookshelves: memoirs-biographies-true-stories, animals

** spoiler alert ** i loved this book from page one til the end. i am so grateful that this story was told and how much dewey touched people. if i am ever in iowa, i want to visit spencer library. *Ü* Thank you Vicki Myron for telling the story of Dewey.

*warning* grab a box of tissues for the end. i had a hunch so i made sure i was home and not going anywhere. i couldn't stop crying as it brought back memories of how my beloved cat Maui passed away.

Benjamin baschinsky i have that on reserve at my library, 38 out of 173 !

Jacqueline115 wow! i was 25 and now it is down to 10....i was able to borrow this from another library without the wait...(can you do that?) it really is worth the wait!!!! It has me smiling all the time and gives me the warm fuzzies. :)

Benjamin baschinsky we have a cat, domestic, who ran out on us over the summer.
The whole community was looking for Samantha. My wife was distraught.
After 4 days, she showed up on our porch, looking none the worse for wear.
Where she was or what she did for those 96 hours, we will never know.
Probably better if we didn't !

Jacqueline115 benjamin, were you able to get this book yet? what number are you now?
