Just turned the last page of this nice little novel. Three stories and multiple voices take a bit of concentration, but well worth the attention. Eddie the boy to man to father to lover, Cora, his mother and the most compelling character and Wallis- daughter, grand daughter, mother, cheating herself and those around her haunted by...well there are a few mysteries and coffins in this tale. We all have a bit of the witch in us.

Its a nice ride and the characters are drawn delicately but with light shining fully on their flaws and fears.
