Maggie's starting high school -- she'd been homeschooled -- and is scared about how it'll all work. Her mom's recently left the family (an interesting trend I've noticed of mothers realizing they've given up their own lives to raise a family and just disappearing), her father's changing his appearance to better fit his new job as police chief, and she's being haunted by a ghost. It's a lot to navigate all at once.

I liked the artwork in this one, but the story didn't quite work for me. I think it's one I'll go back and reread and see if I pick up more details I may have missed. It reminded me a little bit of a cross between Anya's Ghost and Page by Paige.
