This is an entertaining first book in a series about a women who inherited a bookstore and cat with an attitude. The plot has a lot going on without getting overly complicated.

The mystery is interesting and fairly strong. It isn't predictable and I didn't figure things out ahead of time.

The characters are interesting and entertaining, and none of them are annoying.

This book is worth checking out for fans of cozy mysteries.
